Sergio De Larrea, a promising guard for Valencia Basket, has officially declared for the 2026 NBA Draft. The news, reported by DraftExpress, comes following a breakout season for the 20-year-old Spaniard.
Throughout this year, De Larrea has proven he can compete at the highest levels, showcasing a versatile and modern game both domestically and in European competitions. Born in 2005, he has made the most of every minute granted by coach Pedro Martínez, becoming a key factor in the “Taronja” club’s rotation.
In the Liga ACB, De Larrea is averaging 9.3 points and 3.6 assists in just 17 minutes of play per game. However, the most eye-catching statistic is his perimeter threat: an excellent 42.9% from three-point range, a crucial attribute for a guard with NBA aspirations.
Even on the EuroLeague stage, despite a more limited role, the young talent has stepped up. In approximately 10 minutes per game, he contributed 3.6 points and 2.2 assists, confirming his high potential.
