Fenerbahce are entering the EuroLeague playoffs with a potentially major financial concern. According to BasketNews, citing comments made by Ibrahim Kutluay on S Sport+, the Turkish club could lose around €2 million if it ends up facing Hapoel Tel Aviv in the postseason.
The key issue is that such a series could require games to be played at a neutral venue outside Türkiye, reducing both home-court advantage and related matchday revenue. BasketNews explained that the possible matchup depended on Round 38 results.
That would make it a two-fold problem for Fenerbahce: a tougher basketball scenario and the financial impact highlighted by Kutluay.
