In the Western Conference, the play-in opens with Phoenix Suns against the Portland Trail Blazers for the No. 7 seed, with the winner set to face the San Antonio Spurs. The other game is LA Clippers-Golden State Warriors, and the surviving team will then battle for the No. 8 seed against the loser of Suns-Blazers to meet the Oklahoma City Thunder.
