According to ESPN, Miami are waiving Terry Rozier as the regular season comes to a close. The move follows months of inactivity after Rozier was placed on NBA leave in October amid a federal sports gambling investigation.
The Heat are therefore creating an open roster spot heading into the end of the season and the play-in. Rozier had been away from the team since October, when the league placed him on leave following federal charges including conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering; he has pleaded not guilty.
