Carlik Jones has been named the EuroLeague MVP for the month of March after making a huge impact in his return to action for Partizan. The dynamic guard helped drive the Serbian team to a perfect 5-0 record during the month, giving new life to a squad that had been sitting in 19th place at 9-20 by late February.
Across the five March games, Jones averaged 18.4 points, 4.8 assists and a 20.8 PIR, while also adding 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. His influence went far beyond the box score, as Partizan rediscovered offensive rhythm and picked up major wins over postseason hopefuls such as Virtus Bologna, Dubai Basketball and Valencia Basket, in addition to victories against Paris Basketball and ASVEL.
The honor also carries strong historical value for the Belgrade club. Jones became the first Partizan player to win the monthly MVP award since 2009, underlining just how important his comeback has been in a difficult season. It is the first EuroLeague MVP of the Month award of his career.
