Partizan, Carlik Jones’ agent hints at a 2026/27 extension

An Instagram Story featuring black and white colors, along with reports from Serbia, suggests the Belgrade club is close to keeping the South Sudanese guard

Carlik Jones appears increasingly likely to remain with Partizan Belgrade for the 2026/27 season. The latest clue came from his agent Joshua Goodwin, who posted an Instagram Story showing one black and one white dot, an apparent reference to Partizan’s colors.

According to reports from Serbia, especially MozzartSport, negotiations between the two sides are progressing well. Partizan have already made clear their intention to keep the South Sudan guard, despite reported interest from several EuroLeague teams.

Jones missed a significant portion of the season because of injury, but in his 11 EuroLeague appearances he has averaged 15.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 28 minutes per game, with a 17.1 PIR. Those numbers help explain why Partizan are eager to secure his future.
