Giannis Antetokounmpo remains sidelined and the Milwaukee Bucks are still waiting for his return.
Before the game against Portland, coach Doc Rivers said the Greek star is “progressing, but he’s just not healthy.”
Antetokounmpo is out with a left knee issue involving a hyperextension and bone bruise, and he has now missed five games.
His absence is also weighing heavily on Milwaukee’s standings position, with the Bucks slipping further away from the final play-in spot.
Rivers’ comments therefore suggest there is still no immediate return on the horizon.
For the Bucks, getting Giannis back remains the key issue in an increasingly difficult end to the season.
