Kris Dunn Expected to Stay with Clippers, Says Coach Ty Lue

According to Clippers’ coach Ty Lue, Kris Dunn will remain with the team for the next season.

The point guard is under contract through 2026/27 on a roughly $5.7 million non-guaranteed deal, but his place on the roster does not appear to be in doubt.

“His salary is going to be guaranteed regardless… As long as I’m here, I want him on the team,” Lue said. “He means a lot to the group. Everything he brings: his unselfishness, what he stands for as a person. He’s a winner; he does all the little things that lead to winning. So whether he makes an All-Defensive team or not — which I hope he does for him — he’ll be here with us next season.”

Dunn is averaging 7.7 points (48% FG, 38% 3PT, 77% FT), along with 3.6 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.6 steals in 27 minutes per game.
