The Roca Team are getting ready for another EuroLeague final-like game against Olimpia Milano, with only six regular-season games left and no room for mistakes. Monaco sit seventh, while Milan are twelfth but still very much alive after winning five of their last seven games.
The Principality side will still be without Mike James, while Nikola Mirotic has returned to practice but is not ready yet. Coach Manuchar Markoishvili said: “Nikola practiced on Monday, but he is not ready yet. His recovery is going in the right direction and he will soon be able to rejoin contact practices.” Monaco will therefore still dress only nine professional players.
Milan, even after changes during the season, remain a dangerous and hungry team in the playoff race. Their win over Maccabi Tel Aviv boosted Olimpia’s hopes, and they now head to Monaco determined to stay in the postseason picture.
