Hiopos Lleida have announced the signing of Adrià Rodríguez, who will play for the club for the remainder of the season and the next two years. The Catalan guard arrives from the Washington State Cougars (NCAA), after their season ended.
Rodríguez developed in the youth systems of CB Cornellà and FC Barcelona, debuting in LEB Plata in 2020-21 with Cornellà and in Liga EBA in 2021-22 with Barcelona. After a stint with Basket Navarra Club (2022-23), he joined Club Lucentum Alicante in LEB Oro in 2023 and played the ACB promotion playoffs against Força Lleida.
Born on April 28, 2003 in Sant Just Desvern, Rodríguez is a point guard listed at 1.94m and has represented Spain at youth level, including the U20 European Championship in July 2023.
