The forward is in his second season with the Israeli club and was a key piece in last year’s EuroCup triumph.

Hapoel Tel Aviv B.C. have opened negotiations to extend the contract of Ish Wainright, according to a report by Sport5. The forward is currently in his second season with the Israeli club and played an important role in the team’s EuroCup success last season.

Hapoel are therefore looking to retain one of their key players. Despite the presence of several high-level talents on the roster, Wainright continues to be an important piece in the system of head coach Dimitris Itoudis.

So far in this season’s EuroLeague, Wainright is averaging 4.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 24.8 minutes per game.
