Sarunas Jasikevicius, head coach of Fenerbahce, has returned to Istanbul a few days after being stranded in the United Arab Emirates. The update comes from a video that surfaced from the airport.
Alongside the coach, Bejkot (player), Botha (physiotherapist) and Sulak (sporting director) are also reported to have returned. They had been stuck in the UAE following wartime developments in the Middle East.
The Lithuanian coach arrived in Istanbul on the night of Tuesday, 3/3. The circulating footage is presented as confirmation of the group’s return.
