Dubai Basketball has confirmed contract extensions for three cornerstone players from its inaugural roster: Klemen Prepelič, Davis Bertans and Nemanja Dangubić. All three joined ahead of the club’s debut 2024/25 campaign and will stay on as Dubai keeps competing across European competitions.
Team captain Prepelič has been a defining figure since day one, totaling 73 appearances since his debut and providing leadership through the franchise’s rapid rise. Bertans, who arrived after his NBA stint with the Charlotte Hornets, has made 56 appearances and was named vice-captain for his on- and off-court influence.
The trio is completed by Serbian forward Dangubić, a EuroLeague veteran with more than a decade at the top level, who has played 60 games in Dubai colours. The club framed the extensions as a signal of continuity for the “founding era”, highlighting milestones such as an ABA League semifinal run and the first steps on the EuroLeague stage.
