Barcelona to remain in the EuroLeague: the official announcement

It is now official: FC Barcelona have decided to commit to the EuroLeague for the next ten seasons. The club’s men’s basketball team will compete in the EuroLeague through the 2036–37 season, as announced in an official statement released by FC Barcelona.

“The Board of Directors has agreed to ratify the extension of the participation license of the men’s first basketball team in the EuroLeague for the next 10 seasons (until the 2036–37 season), a competition of which it is a founding member. The Board of Directors reiterates its desire to always take part in the best competitions available.”

This is the statement issued by the Blaugrana, who also announced the date of the club’s presidential elections:

“The Board of Directors has decided to call elections for the presidency of the Club on Sunday, March 15, 2026. In the coming days, and in accordance with the deadlines established by the FC Barcelona Statutes, the official notice will be published, including the calendar and all the details of the electoral process.”
