Giannis Antetokounmpo blasts Bucks: “We’re not playing to win”

Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t hold back after the Milwaukee Bucks were routed at home by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Asked what the recent blowout losses have in common, he said the issues are clear: “We’re not playing hard” and “we’re not playing together.”

Antetokounmpo also questioned the team’s decision-making and mentality: “We aren’t doing the right thing” and “we’re not playing to win.”
Then the sharpest line: “Our chemistry’s not there… Guys are being selfish, trying to look for their own shots instead of the right shot for the team.”

He admitted he doesn’t know the root cause and said he doesn’t want to start demanding the ball by yelling at teammates.
But he stressed composure when trailing: “At times… we try to make it up in one play, and it’s not going to work.”
