Ja Morant posted 24 points and 13 assists in the Grizzlies’ 126-109 win over the Magic in London, returning after a six-game absence due to a right calf injury.
The comeback delivered an immediate lift for Memphis, which snapped a rough stretch with only its third win in the last 10 games.
Morant tackled recent trade speculation head-on: “I’ve got a logo on my back,” he said, pointing to a Grizzlies tattoo as a clear sign of where he wants to be.
He added: “I’m a very loyal guy,” insisting there should be no doubt about his desire to stay.
He also described playing again as “therapeutic” and appreciated the London crowd after missing the first Europe game in Berlin.
Morant is in Year 3 of a five-year, $197.2M deal, earning about $39.4M this season.
