The Phoenix Suns were without Devin Booker in a 108-105 loss at the Detroit Pistons after he was ruled out due to ankle swelling, two days after playing through the issue in a loss to the Miami Heat.
Booker posted 24 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists vs Miami and is averaging 25.2 points and 6.5 assists this season. Coach Jordan Ott said he’s hopeful Booker can return Saturday on the road against the New York Knicks.
Injury update: Ott also noted Jalen Green is back in 5-on-5 drills, another step in his return from a hamstring injury that has sidelined him for more than two months.
