Guduric: “When you have a guy like Armoni Brooks, it’s much easier to play”

Immediately after the final buzzer, EuroLeague TV caught up with the game’s standout performer Armoni Brooks—who finished with 31 points and 8 rebounds on 10-of-16 shooting from the field and a perfect 4-of-4 at the free-throw line—as well as Serbian swingman Marko Guduric (13 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 3-of-3 from three-point range).

Brooks put the game to bed by knocking down four three-pointers in less than three minutes in the fourth quarter, igniting the Allianz Cloud crowd, who serenaded him with “MVP, MVP!” chants.

“It’s beautiful to hear that. I’ve never gotten that in my life. So it’s a great feeling. I’m happy the team won more than anything. We were a little lackadaisical in the first half. We tried to clean up the defense and offensive rebounding in the second half. We stuck together and fought through a little bit of adversity. It feels good to come back and get this win.”

Guduric echoed the same sentiment: “The second half is the way we have to play. Great energy, great togetherness. And when you have a guy like Armoni, it’s much easier to play,”
