The Chicago Bulls saw their top scorers go down in a 136-101 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Coby White, Chicago’s leading scorer at 20.5 points per game, left in the first quarter with a right calf strain, after missing the first 11 games of the season with a similar issue.
Early in the second half, Josh Giddey walked off gingerly with an apparent left hamstring injury after scoring 11 points. He entered the game averaging 19.5 points, 9.2 assists and 9.1 rebounds, and ranks second in the NBA with seven triple-doubles.
Coach Billy Donovan said he didn’t have updates on either player after the game. Donovan also noted Zach Collins is expected to miss several games with a sprained right big toe.
