Denver Nuggets’ Cameron Johnson to undergo MRI on right knee

Denver Nuggets forward Cameron Johnson will undergo an MRI following a right knee injury.
The issue occurred with 9:18 left in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s 131-130 loss to the Dallas Mavericks in Dallas.

Johnson went down with what appeared to be a noncontact injury and stayed on the floor in visible pain.
He eventually got up and limped to the bench, but did not check back into the game.

Denver listed him as questionable to return with a right knee sprain, but kept him out.
Adelman confirmed the MRI, while Johnson entered the game averaging 11.8 points in 30.9 minutes.
