Memphis Grizzlies’s Ja Morant not on the Grizzlies’ trade market

Ja Morant, who recently returned from a 10-game absence, is not on the trade market, per Afseth. At the same time, several teams are closely watching the point guard market ahead of the Feb. 5 deadline.

Ja Morant of the Grizzlies, fresh off a 10-game absence, is currently not available on the trade market. Afseth reports that the guard is not part of any ongoing trade conversations.

If that stance were ever to change, the Heat are not viewed as a strong fit for the two-time All-Star. Their connection to Morant is therefore not seen as a leading option.

Meanwhile, the Rockets, Timberwolves and Kings are keeping a close eye on the point guard market. According to Afseth, those teams are monitoring potential moves ahead of the Feb. 5 deadline.
