LeBron James: “Nikola Jokic is the most complete and dominant offensive player I’ve ever faced”

During the latest episode of Mind the Game, LeBron James responded to a pointed question from Steve Nash about Nikola Jokic.

Nash: “Can we talk about how Jokic makes a joke out of the NBA night after night?…. Let me ask you something — is the Joker the best offensive player you’ve ever faced?”

LeBron: “That damn Joker is truly unbelievable… over the last 5–6 games he was shooting something like 77% from the field. And he’s not like the old-school centers who only finished at the rim — he’s dangerous from all three levels. From deep, from mid-range, and at the basket… I don’t think I’ve ever gone up against a player so complete and dominant, if we’re talking about passing, shooting, rebounding, the threats he creates. There is literally nothing he can’t do on the offensive end. Sometimes he even brings the ball up — you’ll see the point guard grab a rebound and give it to him to lead the break…”

Jokic currently leads the NBA with 11 assists per game, ranks second in rebounds (12.6), and seventh in scoring (29.1).
