Maccabi Tel Aviv may be stepping back from the idea of parting ways with head coach Oded Kattash. According to Walla Sport, the club’s management will meet today to discuss and decide the coach’s future.
At the moment, the feeling around the organization is one of renewed confidence in Kattash. The club reportedly wants to give him the chance to lead the team in Israel for at least the first upcoming EuroLeague games. Fans are strongly attached to the coach, and making a change right now—especially as the team is finally able to play EuroLeague games again in front of its home crowd—would not be considered the best choice.
