Bad news for Panathinaikos, as Cedi Osman has gone down with a left ankle sprain. The Turkish forward was injured late in the first quarter and left the court for the locker room before being taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
Initial reports indicate a minor sprain, but medical tests will determine whether Osman can recover in time for the EuroLeague clash against Partizan on November 25 at 9:15 p.m.
The Greek club is already dealing with four other injured players, and Osman’s setback adds to coach Ergin Ataman’s growing list of concerns.
