In the latest episode of Mind the Game, LeBron James and Stephen Curry both indicated they won’t compete at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. “You already know my answer — I’ll be watching,” said James, who will be 43 during the Games.
Curry, who will be 40 by then, added: “God willing, I’ll still have the choice and ability to play, but I highly doubt it. Highly doubt it.” James has four Olympic appearances with three golds (2008, 2012, 2024), while Curry made his Olympic debut in Paris, leading the U.S. to victory over France.
“We can’t top what we just did,” James concluded, hinting that the 2024 triumph might have been the perfect farewell to international basketball for both stars.
