The Indiana Pacers are signing Mac McClung to a multiyear non-guaranteed deal, creating roster space by waiving James Wiseman, per Shams Charania (ESPN).

It’s the first standard NBA contract for McClung, the three-time Slam Dunk Contest champion, who has appeared in six career games, most recently with Orlando.

Wiseman, 24, just returned from an Achilles tear and logged 20 minutes in last week’s loss to Memphis. With Tyrese Haliburton out for the season and several guards sidelined, Indiana adds McClung to boost its depleted backcourt.
