Fenerbahce president: “We’ll do everything to extend Jasikevicius’ contract”

Sadettin Saran confirmed full trust in the Lithuanian coach despite the slow EuroLeague start.

Fenerbahce began the new season with a 1–3 record, but the club remains united behind Sarunas Jasikevicius, who led the Turkish powerhouse to the EuroLeague title and a historic sweep last year.

“We will do everything we can to extend his contract,” said President Sadettin Saran, expressing confidence in the coach’s leadership and vision. Talks for renewal are already planned.

For Fenerbahce, Jasikevicius is the architect of the team’s resurgence and success — and management is determined to keep him in Istanbul.
