Per Michael Scotto (HoopsHype), the Brooklyn Nets have waived forward Drew Timme and guard Dariq Whitehead. Timme averaged 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in nine games last season, while Whitehead, the 22nd pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, posted 5.7 points in 20 appearances.
The decision reflects the team’s ongoing roster adjustments as training camp winds down. Both players will now look for new opportunities elsewhere in the league.
Brooklyn gains additional roster flexibility as it continues shaping its young core for the season ahead.
