Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka spoke about Alperen Sengun’s performance at EuroBasket 2025. The former Celtics coach seemed pleased with the Turkish center’s play, praising the way he is performing and the improvements he has shown.
Here are his words: : “For him, we want him to work on specific things. The way they guard him over in Eurobasket, he’s doing a great job of getting high assist numbers, being very efficient. He also had some really big end-of-the-game plays defensively that won them games. It’s great to see the work he put in be rewarded”.
At EuroBasket 2025 with his Turkey team, Sengun is putting up impressive numbers: 21.6 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game on average.
