The Chicago Bulls have raised their bid for Josh Giddey, a restricted free agent, to $88 million over four years, up from an initial $80 million offer.
The 22-year-old guard is reportedly seeking closer to $30 million per season and prefers a five-year deal, leaving negotiations ongoing.
Giddey has until October 1 to accept his $11.1 million qualifying offer, which would grant him a one-year no-trade clause but cost him his Bird rights if traded.
