The Golden State Warriors and Jonathan Kuminga remain far apart on contract talks as training camp approaches. According to Dalton Johnson, the forward is considering the 1-year, $7.9M qualifying offer.
Golden State had proposed a 2-year, $45M deal, but without the player option requested by Kuminga’s camp. If he takes the QO, he would become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2026.
Kuminga, coming off the best season of his career, seems ready to bet on himself, while the Warriors risk losing a key asset with no return.
