Crvena Zvezda Belgrade has officially announced the departure of its longtime captain, Branko Lazić.

Lazić, a small forward born in 1989, played for the Serbian club from 2011 to 2025, becoming the player with the most appearances in Crvena Zvezda’s history — an impressive 838. He also holds the record for games played in European competitions with the Belgrade team, 290.

Over 14 seasons with Crvena Zvezda, Lazić won 25 trophies: 7 ABA Leagues, 8 Serbian Championships, 9 Korac Cups, and 1 ABA Supercup.

A great chapter in Crvena Zvezda’s history comes to an end.
