Maccabi Tel Aviv has signed Lonnie Walker IV to a multi-year contract, bringing the explosive guard back to Europe in a deal that will reportedly make him one of the highest-paid players on the continent.
The news was first reported by Marc Stein, while Donatas Urbonas confirmed that it’s a multi-year agreement
According to Stein, the contract includes an NBA-out clause valid until August 1, with a predetermined buyout should Walker receive an offer from an NBA team.
Walker IV, 26, finished the 2024/25 season with the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging 12.3 points and 2.5 assists over 20 games. Earlier in the season, he made his EuroLeague debut with Žalgiris Kaunas, where he posted 13.6 points and 1.8 assists in 22 minutes per game.
