ACB: San Pablo Burgos promoted, Real Betis denied. Granada receives invitation

San Pablo Burgos has been officially admitted back to Liga Endesa, while Real Betis has been rejected. Coviran Granada has now been offered the vacant spot

During Thursday’s General Assembly in Madrid, the ACB approved the affiliation of San Pablo Burgos, the top team in the Primera FEB regular season. The club returns to Liga Endesa after competing in the league from 2017 to 2022.

Real Betis Baloncesto SAD, however, was denied affiliation. The Assembly concluded that Betis failed to meet essential requirements, including timely payment of the affiliation fee. As a result, Coviran Granada, who finished 17th in the 2024–25 Liga Endesa season, has been officially invited to register within five days and compete in the 2025–26 season.
