Official: Will Clyburn signs with FC Barcelona

The former Virtus Bologna forward joins the Spanish powerhouse on a two-year deal. “I want to be part of Barça’s legacy,” he said

FC Barcelona has officially signed Will Clyburn, the 2.01-meter American forward, on a contract through 2027. Fresh off winning the Italian league title with Virtus Bologna, the 35-year-old will strengthen the wing position alongside Myles Cale, replacing Justin Anderson and Alex Abrines. “It’s an honor to be here. Barça is a historic club,” Clyburn told Barça One.

This will be Clyburn’s seventh European team, following stints with Ulm, Holon, Darussafaka, CSKA Moscow (where he won the 2019 EuroLeague Final Four MVP), Efes, and Virtus. In EuroLeague play, he’s appeared in 243 games, averaging 13.8 points and 5.3 rebounds.
