An agreement has been reached between the parties. Olimpia Milano has decided to capitalise on the experience and leadership of the New York native, who has accepted his role in an experienced and ambitious team. Only the final details are pending before the announcement.
The agreement is for one season. Bryant Dunston joins from Zalgiris Kaunas, where he played 68 games in the EuroLeague and LKL last season. Between 2020 and 2024, he played 68 games with Virtus Bologna, who made it all the way to the play-offs.
Born in 1986, the 39-year-old former Fordham student is preparing for his 16th season in Europe and his 13th consecutive season in the EuroLeague, having led Varese to the Scudetto semifinals in 2012–13.
This means that Ettore Messina will have five centres at his disposal. Bryant Dunston joins the already confirmed Josh Nebo and Ousmane Diop, as well as the newly acquired Leonardo Totè and Devin Booker.
