Mark Smith, a 25-year-old guard standing at 1.93 meters, has signed with ratiopharm Ulm for the 2025-26 season. The club announced the move following his solid year in the Japanese League.
Smith averaged 18.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 43 games for Nagasaki Velca. He previously played in Germany with Goettingen, posting 16.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
“He’s strong on the boards, plays with intensity, defends and creates for others,” said Ulm sports director Thorsten Leibenath. “He’s in his prime and will continue to develop with us.”
