Valencia Basket has extended Xabi López-Arostegui’s contract for two more seasons, keeping the Spanish forward until 2027

Valencia Basket has announced the extension of Xabi López-Arostegui for two additional seasons, keeping him with the club until 2027. Since joining in 2021, he has played 226 games, averaging 7.6 points and 3.7 rebounds.

Last season, Xabi earned a spot on the EuroCup Second Team with 10.4 points and 38.9% from three, becoming Valencia’s second most efficient player in Europe. In the ACB playoffs, he excelled with a 68.8% three-point percentage.

By extending Xabi, Valencia Basket reinforces its commitment to a strong Spanish core ahead of the move to Roig Arena, preparing for the upcoming ACB and EuroCup campaigns.
