Ivan Kharchenkov, 18, is leaving Bayern Munich to play college basketball in the United States. After helping win the BBL title and the German U19 championship, a new chapter awaits him.
Kharchenkov joined Bayern at 12 and became the youngest scorer in Bundesliga history at 16 years old. This season, he averaged 5.2 points in 12 minutes and played a key role in Game 4 of the finals against Ulm.
Bayern Munich will receive compensation for his transfer and will closely follow Kharchenkov’s development, ready to welcome him back to the “Bayern family” in the future.
