Ty Jerome has agreed to a three-year, $28 million contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, including a player option for the third year, per ESPN.
The 27-year-old guard is coming off a breakout season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he averaged 12.5 points and 3.4 assists while shooting 51.6% from the field and 43.9% from beyond the arc. Jerome was among the top bench performers in the NBA, posting five 25-point games off the bench and helping Cleveland to a 64-win season with the league’s most dangerous offense.
Drafted 24th overall in 2019, Jerome battled injuries, including an ankle surgery that sidelined him for nearly all of 2023-24. Now, after revitalizing his career in Cleveland, he joins the Grizzlies as part of their new core alongside newly extended Jaren Jackson Jr. and Santi Aldama.
