Philadelphia 76ers guard Eric Gordon has decided not to exercise his $3.4 million player option to explore free agency.

The guard, born in 1988, this season produced 6.8 points in 20.2 minutes in 39 games played with 40.9% from 3-point range. A new deal with the 76ers, however, is not out of the question for a player who has earned over $184 million since 2008 in the NBA.
