Despite reports, Eurohoops confirms that negotiations are ongoing and no agreement is in place

The Barcelona-Will Clyburn saga continues. While Spanish media claimed the deal was done, Eurohoops reports that talks are still active and a final agreement hasn’t been reached.

After a solid but injury-hit season with Virtus Bologna, Clyburn averaged 13.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in EuroLeague play. Barça has already signed Tornike Shengelia, also from Virtus.

A financial gap remains the main obstacle. If completed, Clyburn would be the second major addition from Bologna to join Barcelona this summer.
