Miha Cerkvenik returns to Cedevita Olimpija on long-term deal

Cedevita Olimpija has announced the return of Miha Cerkvenik, who signed a contract through 2028.
The 23-year-old forward played the last three seasons with Krka Novo Mesto.

Known for his work ethic and defensive skills, Cerkvenik averaged 11.2 points and 4.7 rebounds last season.
He also featured with the Slovenian national team during EuroBasket and Olympic qualifiers.

Coach Zvezdan Mitrović and sporting director Chechu Mulero highlighted his fit with the team’s vision.
“It feels like coming home,” said Cerkvenik. “Every Slovenian kid dreams of playing here.”
