According to Corriere del Trentino, Myles Cale will likely make his EuroLeague debut next season wearing the Barcelona jersey. The American guard, who arrived in Trento last summer and had an outstanding season, is looking to take a big step forward and try to replicate what he showed with Aquila in Europe’s top competition. Despite significant interest from other teams, it seems the Blaugrana club is set to win the race.
Let’s read what Marco Vigarani writes in Corriere del Trentino:
“Among the clubs interested were Efes, Maccabi, Paris, Baskonia, and Virtus Bologna, but in the end it seems that Barcelona is ready to beat them all by paying Aquila the €80,000 buy-out, which will activate the release clause included in the contract with Trento in the event of an offer from a EuroLeague team.”
Myles Cale would be the fifth player since 2023 to move from Aquila Trento to the EuroLeague. Before him were Flaccadori, Spagnolo, Hommes, and Grazulis. This summer, Quinn Ellis and Saliou Niang will also join that list alongside Cale.
