According to NBA analyst Jake Weinbach, the Golden State Warriors might be interested in pursuing a trade to bring Kristaps Porzingis to the Bay Area. The San Francisco franchise, again according to Weinbach, could even be willing to offer Jonathan Kuminga to the Celtics, potentially creating a very intriguing deal. Both Boston and Golden State face an offseason that promises to be interesting to follow, filled with important decisions and choices.
This season with the Celtics, Porzingis averaged 19.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Kuminga, on the other hand, posted averages of 15.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. It’s worth noting that the Congolese forward’s rookie contract with Golden State is set to expire this summer, and a renewal through a “sign and trade” deal can’t be ruled out as a way to open up new market opportunities.
