Greek Deputy Minister of Sports Giannis Vroutsis has confirmed that Dimitris Giannakopoulos, owner of Panathinaikos, will attend a critical meeting on Wednesday to de-escalate tensions with Olympiacos owners the Angelopoulos brothers.
The initiative follows the chaos of Game 2, aiming to secure a peaceful conclusion to the Greek League Finals. Vroutsis warned that if no agreement is reached, the championship will be suspended.
The goal is not to resolve personal disputes, he stressed, but to sign a mutual pledge of non-toxicity until the season ends. The summit is set for 3:00 PM on June 4 at the Ministry.
