Denver Nuggets, coach Adelman: “Jokic? I’m sure he’s frustrated”

Denver Nuggets coach David Adelman was asked to comment on Nikola Jokic’s performance after the Game 3 win over Oklahoma. The Serbian player, despite finishing with 20 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 assists, shot 8-for-25 from the field and certainly had a tough night. These were his statements reported by ESPN.

“I mean, 20, 16 and 6, what an awful NBA night”, started Adelman, joking.

“I’m sure he’s frustrated,” Adelman added, “when you’re so efficient, maybe arguably one of the most efficient players to ever play any sport. Yeah, I get it. I get why he’s frustrated. But Game 4 is going to come, and he’s going to touch it a million times. Hope he shoots it all the time.”
