Dimitris Itoudis, fresh off winning the EuroCup with Hapoel Tel Aviv, shared his views on basketball’s future. “We are mature enough to expand the EuroLeague to 20, 22, or 24 teams,” he said.
The coach emphasized merging the “knowledge and experience” of NBA and EuroLeague. As president of the EuroLeague Coaches Board, he promotes stable three- and five-year investment plans.
Finally, he praised Jokic, Doncic, and Antetokounmpo as proof of Europe’s talent. “Serious people are ready to invest and help EuroLeague grow,” he added.
