Dallas in survival mode, Kidd: “Never seen anything like this”
The Dallas Mavericks, down to just seven available players, fell 125-116 to the Phoenix Suns.
During the game, Dwight Powell and Brandon Williams suffered injuries, leaving Jason Kidd with no substitutions. With Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, and six others out, Dallas can’t sign reinforcements due to salary cap restrictions.
Powell is expected to return against San Antonio, giving the Mavs just enough players to meet the league minimum.
