The Sacramento Kings have parted ways with head coach Mike Brown, the 2023 NBA Coach of the Year.

Despite signing a contract extension through 2027, Brown was dismissed after a disappointing 13-18 start to the season, including a five-game losing streak.

Brown led the Kings to the playoffs in 2023, ending a 17-year drought, but the team has struggled this season, losing an NBA-high 13 clutch-time games.
